6 Ways to Burn Fat Simply by Managing your Food Environment

A great way to improve your diet and help you burn fat and lose weight is to carefully manage your food environment.

1️⃣ 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐀𝐩𝐩

Get rid of temptation. Delete the app and eliminate the opportunity to choose a poor meal option.

2️⃣ 𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐚 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭.

Plan your shopping trip in advance don't go into the supermarket unprepared as the sales tactics will inevitably force you to make bad food choices, or impulse purchases. And avoid the naughty middle aisles which are full of unhealthy food!

3️⃣ 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐥𝐲

Make sure you have enough, healthy food in your fridge at all times so you're not tempted to order take away mid week. It also ensures that you can plan and prep your meals in advance and is more cost effective.

4️⃣ 𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐠𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐲

Your hunger pangs are a call to choose unhealthy quick fix carbs to satiate your hunger. Visit on a full stomach to help you make more sensible choices.

5️⃣ 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬

Choose adequate quantities of good quality protein, go for complex carbohydrates, avoid processed foods and steer clear products full of sugar, and don't drink calories (soda & booze!!)

6️⃣ 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐬

Don't leave it to chance. Plan for 5 simple meal options for each week night and cook extra for following day's lunch. Shop the weekend before, see tip 3. This prevents you from being too lazy to cook or running out of food mid week.
